  Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) or PEDOT is an organic non-toxic liquid polymer having high solubility. The most common derivative of PEDOT is PEDOT-2 and it was synthesized by coupling the aromatic ligand triterpenoid (Cannerellaellaceae, Tricophytaceae) with methyl hydroxide at a temperature of 300 degree Fahrenheit.
