Hydraulic Tubing Anchor are proving to be a critical device in increasing the efficiency of pumps and reducing rod and tubing wear

Hydraulic Tubing Anchor

The hydraulic tubing anchor is a mechanism that is used to hold the ends of a pipe or horizontal tube onto fixed support. It is mainly used for securing pipes and fittings to the walls of the pipeline or the roof of the building. Hydraulic systems that are designed to run under the ground are commonly fitted with the Hydraulic R. Anchor. Hydraulic systems are mostly used in construction sites, to hold pipes that lead to or from the underground pipes. A hydraulic tubing anchor has the ability to change both the direction and the speed of the flow by varying the length of its sleeve. Hydraulic tubing anchors are used in different applications, to meet various requirements and to increase efficiency. They can be used for mainline water supply systems, to connect the lower-end portion of the pipe to the main drain system.

A Hydraulic tubing anchor is a common component of many hydraulic systems. The hydraulic tubing anchor consists of a flexible sleeve having a cross-section that is semi-rigid. This semi-rigid section enables the insertion of a fluid conducting tubing string in a good casing. When the flow rate or pressure increases, the motion of the fluid inside the good casing would contract along with the expansion of the tube itself. It can also be made semi-rigid by machining a semi-circular hole on one or both sides of the centerline of the bore, through which a fluid conducting tube can be inserted. In this manner, the Hydraulic Tubing Anchor may serve as a shaft and a source of hydraulic power.

The tube may then be drawn through the hole and lead to an associated hydraulic power unit, which serves as an energy-generating device. This energy-generating device can be either an electric motor or a turbine. Hydraulic tubing anchors may be fixed to the frame or may be fixed to the outside of the bore. Hydraulic tubes are also known as sleeve lines. Hydraulic tube lengths are measured in meters, while some countries use terms such as feet for lengths. The Hydraulic tube construction is typically made from high tensile steel, which accounts for its durability. The most common materials used in the construction of hydraulic tube fittings and sleeves are aluminum, polycarbonate, and steel.
