India Static Compression Therapy industry continues to grow as it prevents leg swelling and accelerates the muscle recovery
Static Compression Therapy is the
name given to a group of surgical techniques designed to treat a wide variety
of conditions in which the tissues of the body compress repeatedly but do not
move. As per the field of orthopedic physiology, India static compression
therapy is an easy and non-invasive way of increasing blood circulation
activity in the lower legs through stretching specially designed compression
stockings. It is a common form of minimally invasive wound care which aims to
apply gentle, but effective pressure on the legs and ankles by wearing
specially designed compression stockings.
The main advantages of this form of
care are that it provides immediate pain relief; compression can be used on a
wide range of tissues including tendons, muscles, bones, and ligaments;
compression is gentle, slow, and requires no general anesthesia. Some forms of India
static compression therapy are available for patients who are incapable
or unwilling to wear compression stockings. Research into compression garments
and their use over the last 10 years has been extensive, with many studies
undertaken by various groups. These studies have brought forth many important
findings on key market trends relating to this fad, which have subsequently
been utilized to help design compression garments.
Most studies have found that
compression apparel is most effective when used for patients suffering from
some form of chronic lymphedema, as well as being highly effective at helping
to cure and prevent many more ailments such as venous insufficiency, varicose
veins, and poor blood circulation. Evidence has also been obtained to show that
compression garments are very beneficial to patients suffering from various
other ailments, which include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD),
chronic lung disease (CLD), and symptoms of psoriasis and multiple sclerosis.
Recently, in May 2020, AIROS Medical Inc. introduced a new compression therapy
device and garment system to treat breast cancer patients.
