Liquid biofertilizer is another special type of fertilizer that uses microorganisms to fix atmospheric nitrogen and solubilize insoluble phosphates. Recently, the demand for such fertilizers has increased in the U.S., Italy, and the U.K. Furthermore, in India, the scientists at Bihar Agricultural University (BAU) developed eco-friendly liquid biofertilizers to boost agricultural yield by over 20%.
